With the options of both flat top design (VW/Audi) and conventional design (BMW) this twin plate clutch kit features two high quality sprung organic discs and a torque rating upwards of 650 lbs/ft. The twin plate design ensures twice the torque holding ability at half the pedal pressure and the organic material retains smooth engagement and daily drivability (example, stop start traffic/hill starts/town driving).
The high torque capacity makes this kit well suited to high horsepower modified vehicles. With these uses in mind the kit features a high-quality uprated pressure plate and billet steel single mass flywheel. The SMF is both lightweight and strong and designed to replace the heavier OE dual mass flywheel (where applicable) being lightweight means increased throttle response ensuring quicker uptake and dropping of revs when changing gears.
Utilising high-quality German engineering the CNC machined components are reliable and durable ensuring that they can stand up to high performance use whilst also retaining longevity making this twin plate clutch an ideal fit for high horsepower vehicle street applications.
Additionally, an alignment tool and release bearing* are included.
